Citrus Festival of Muravera:
- The Festival will have place from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th of April. Born in the Sixties in Muravera, an area rich in agricultural resources, this annual Citrus Festival celebrates the juiciness of local produce with folk parades, art shows, music and plenty of oranges to taste, including the luscious Arangiu de Murera. During this festival you will have the opportunity to attend a good amount of folkloric shows. This parade is enriched by the passage of etnotraccas. These wagons are decorated according to the sardinian tradition. Each wagon is fitted out in different ways, but each represents scenes of life of the past times.. Roar of the agro pastoral life that has long characterized the life of arduous sardi. Parades of masks representing every region of Sardinia, will delight visitors involving them in performance. Amalgam of the show is the melancholy sound of launeddas, wind instrument, consisting of perforated pipes, and over to be builders and inventors the islanders, they are also excellent players.
